Zaru Soba with Furikake and Dipping Sauce with Shredded Daikon and Sliced Scallions

It's fancy because I added garnishes

I have had about three people tell me their secret to making zaru soba: put the cooked and drained noodles into the freezer before serving to make them cold. I’m pretty sure everyone has the same “secret” technique.

I am a huge fan of all the garnishes that Japanese restaurants add to, otherwise, simple dishes. Here I added furikake to the soba, shredded daikon, sliced green onion and sesame seeds to the store bought zaru soba dipping sauce.
