Stuffed Sword Fish on Truffle Rissoto

My friend and her family took me out to a nice restaurant in Coronado called Peohe’s. It is a sort of surf and turf restaurant with Island fusion. Quite tasty, actually.

I was feeling seafood, but wanted something substantial. So I decided on the swordfish. The truffle risotto didn’t hurt either.

I was commenting to my mother later that “white people” fish, like sword fish, tends to be really dry and bland. But this fish, was really juicy and oily and heavy… much like salmon. I don’t know if maybe I’ve had bad swordfish in the past, or perhaps the chef used a lot of oil in the cooking process, but it was juicy and tender!
