Avocado and Cilantro Hummus

I really like Hummus. Can you tell?

I made this (amazing) hummus and my friend Tracie could not get enough of it! I decided to serve it with celery sticks instead of the usual pita chips for health reasons. Gotta cut those calories somewhere!

This recipe might even rival guacamole!

Recipe:

Avocado and Cilantro Hummus

Serves 8 (But only if you feel like sharing)

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 hass avocado
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 bunch of cilantro, leaves and tender stems
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. You can add more olive oil until you reach the consistency you like.
  • Enjoy!
