I really like Hummus. Can you tell?
I made this (amazing) hummus and my friend Tracie could not get enough of it! I decided to serve it with celery sticks instead of the usual pita chips for health reasons. Gotta cut those calories somewhere!
This recipe might even rival guacamole!
Avocado and Cilantro Hummus
Serves 8 (But only if you feel like sharing)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 hass avocado
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 bunch of cilantro, leaves and tender stems
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. You can add more olive oil until you reach the consistency you like.
